Consistency is key
It starts of course with the coffee. We offer some of the most awarded coffee blends in NZ that have not changed much in recipe over 15 years. Most of the coffee is sourced from the same suppliers for that long as well. Our roasting is continuously tweaked for the better by adding more quality and process controls. We have a couple of blends that just come out always ok, over-extracted, under-extracted: they are very forgiving on the barista. Trust us, consistency and especially flavour starts with the quality of the green coffee to start with. That is our secret, oops.
First class service and training
When you would like to serve IncaFé coffee it is in our interest you do our coffee proud. We make sure you are well equipped to start with and certainly at the beginning and as and when required we will support you with training. Even if you are a small account we still work hard to get you to a good level. With contractors throughout the country we can service our equipment and we see our clients very regularly for some training and servicing.
Take it to the next level
A great barista with the right beans will make a good coffee on almost any machine. But tightly controlled group head temperature on a dual boiler machines takes it to the next level of consistency and finesse in flavour. To take it a step further we have machines that will let you change the pressure during extraction, especially noticeable in the finish of the coffee. We are the distributor of Astoria and STORM dual boiler machines.
We are the distributor of Ascaso machines. They produce very stylish machines, well-built with dual boiler technology . do a lot to minimise and offset our emissions and we also offset all the other emissions from farm to your cup of coffee. However by far the biggest impact we have is promoting organic coffee as the trees on and around the plantations sequester some 10 times more carbon than we offset with all our schemes.
For 15 years we have been working with our friends at Espressomat. We are the exclusive distributors of these elegant, basic machines with nice control functions.
Auto-tamper and grinder
Only when the tamping by the barista and between baristas is consistent you can take it to the next level. We offer an auto-tamper with café set-ups and we always install high end on-demand grinders, some with built-in scales
